Liz is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she received her B.A. in 1977. She obtained her law degree law degree in 1981 from the University of California San Francisco (formerly Hastings College of the Law) where she served on the Moot Court Board. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar.
Liz’s passion in and out of the courtroom is helping “the little guy”. From 1981- 1985, she served as a Philadelphia Assistant Defender , where she represented thousands of indigent defendants, trying thousands of cases. She spent the next 7 years as an associate in a prestigious Philadelphia plaintiff’s personal injury firm, where she successfully represented thousands of injured people. Liz was so successful that she opened her own plaintiff’s personal injury practice in 1992, one of the few women in the Pennsylvania legal community to do so. Over the years, Liz has had the pleasure of representing several generations of her original clients. After 33 years, she joined Dion, Solomon, Shapiro as of counsel, where she continues to serve her clients.
Liz is known for her compassion, personal touch, and attention to even the most minute of details.
Outside of the courtroom, Liz most enjoys spending time with her husband of 43 years, her daughters and their husbands, and her grandson. She is also an exercise enthusiast, avid reader, and artist.
